Many of us will go to work and not think twice about some of our employee benefits. We have all been there. On paper and on our contracts there are a list of things that you may be entitled to and they vary from employee discounts to things like vision insurance. This is where potentially you pay for the benefit and can then redeem the costs for new lenses, new frames and any appointments that you may have. Sounds great doesn it? 

The question is, when was the last time you looked closely at the benefits that you receive and whether or not you are paying for something that you don’t even use or get any benefit from? Vision insurance is one of those things that you likely don’t think twice about. Like a lot of company and employee benefits, there will always be pros and cons to ‘opting in’ and it is up to you to decide on whether or not you think it is worth it.
